Vote by Mail
Florida’s voting laws require voters who request a vote-by-mail ballot to do so after every election cycle. Every voter who requested a vote-by-mail ballot before November 8, 2022 must sign up to receive their mail ballots for the 2024 primaries and general election.
The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed is no later than 5 pm on the 12th day before an election.
To request a mail-in ballot online, you will need a valid Florida ID or driver’s license. If you need assistance with obtaining one, contact VoteRiders at 1-866-ID-2-VOTE / 1-866-432-8683.
For more information about vote-by-mail, visit the Florida Division of Elections website.
Select your county from the drop-down and click “Get Started” to request a vote-by-mail ballot online.
Early Voting
Early Voting is when a person casts a ballot prior to Election Day at a location designated by the county Supervisor of Elections. Depending on the county, early voting happens for one to two weeks, ending the Saturday or Sunday before the election.
Note: Some counties only have early voting information posted for the August Primary Election. Information for the General Election in November, when Amendment 4 will be on the ballot, will likely be posted after the primary.
Select your county from the drop down and click “Get Early Voting Info” to see early voting locations in your community.
Voting on Election Day
The polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. (local time). Any voters waiting in line at 7:00 p.m. will have the opportunity to cast a ballot.
The general election is November 5, 2024.
To find your precinct or polling location, visit the Division of Elections webpage on Voter Precinct Lookup and select your county link.
